The Union of Parents & Guardians of Primary Education of the Municipality of Chalkidona in Central Macedonia is the first union collaborating with the Information Technologies Institute of the Center for Research & Technology Hellas, to improve the school, as we know it, introducing "Enhance My School" application.
The application is being tested, initially with the Union of the Municipality of Chalkidona, for the first time nationwide. The first feedback will be used for further upgrade and expansion at a national level.
Associations of Parents & Guardians in cooperation with the school's management and staff, send their requests to the Union of the Municipality for problems they encounter in their daily school life, which they cannot resolve on their own within the limits of their role, planning or budget.
Moreover, each parent, principal, teacher, member of the school staff can individually submit suggestions for improvement that can be taken into account for new requests from the association to the union

The Application
The users (Associations of Parents & Guardians) can request solving problems of wear, maintenance, cleaning of school buildings and the surrounding area, as well as operational problems, shortages, safe access to school facilities, and more.
Users are directly notified for the progress of their requests.
The Union of Parents & Guardians is able to immediately have a comprehensive picture of the problems of all schools in its Municipality and to seek solutions for each one of them or to manage them horizontally always in collaboration with the administrations of the school units.
The Union notifies the associations about every progress stage of their requests.
